Vacheron Constantin's new Egerie watch collection features a see-through caseback allowing the 1400 gauge hand-wound movement set with rubies and its outstanding finish to be admired. For beautiful and elegant women in a modern world, wand-shaped hands and 18carat gold applique numerals liven up the guilloche ornamented dial protected by domed sapphire crystals. The crown is enhanced with a Maltese Cross, the company's corporate symbol since 1880.

Introduced in 1996, the Overseas design by Vacheron Constantin instantly made its mark with utter distinction, quickly winning recognition as one of the most accomplished timepieces in its class. Vacheron Constantin has taken an art nouveau design out of its vault to create the Egerie 1912, its first watch made specifically for women. The timepiece is tonneau-shaped with a case in either white or yellow gold with a hand-turned guilloche dial. The case comes in four varieties: plain, diamond bezel, pav?© diamond case, and the pav?© diamond case and dial. Each watch comes on a satin strap in black, light beige, plum, or navy, and is accompanied by a crocodile strap if the wearer wants to change.

Presented in 1981, the Kalla collection consisted of about 10 models, with royal-sounding titles like Queen Kalla, Regent Kalla and Earl Kalla. Ironically, the most common of these--as many as 10 were produced--is called the King Kalla. It has 50 carats of diamonds and is worth between million and million. The single-edition Lady Kalla was designed for Diana, Princess of Wales, and given to her as a wedding gift. Carved from 18-carat white gold, the watch was made of 108 emerald-cut, perfectly matched diamonds, with 26 more on the dial, adding up to 30 carats of diamonds with 3,172 facets.
